APOS stands for 'All Phases of the Step Cycle'. Put simply, the APOS Treatment re-designs the way you walk. The treatment combines individually designed footwear, called Walkrights, with a personalised programme put together by specially trained therapists. APOS Walkrights feature a unique adjustable attachment called a "Pertupod". The Pertupods are selected and calibrated by a specially trained clinician to create the desired alignment and posture for each client. The clinician will then devise a personal walking programme for the patient that is undertaken at home, typically for around 30 minutes a day.

It really depends on your personal circumstances. Most patients will feel real relief in a couple of weeks. Once you have completed the standard APOS Treatment programme, then you will be prescribed a maintenance programme to follow on an on-going basis.
